What is Reflective Teaching?

Reflective teaching happens when you reflect on your teaching, you think back on it, in order to understand it better, and to take step to improve it. Reflection is regarded as the key stage in an experiental learning cycle which also includes planning, action and learning. Reflection, Thornbury adds, involves more than simply remembering. It means being able to think critically about experience, to identify problems, and to 're-frame' these problem.
