ACTION RESEARCH is a form of teacher - driven research, the twin goals of which are to improve classroom practice and to empower teachers, ie, to give them greater control over their working lives ( Thornbury, 2006:3)
ACCENT is the way people's pronunciation reveals their social and or geographical background
ARTICLE is the class of word which goes before noun and it tells us simply whether thing that is referred to is, or can be, identified ( definite), or if it is not (yet) identified (indefinite)
